Whilst we were staying in Kotor, we took a day trip and drove down the coast of Montenegro, all the way to the border with Albania pretty much. The coastline is absolutely spectacular, just like Croatias, but cheaper. We stopped at a few places to swim including the famous resort Sveti Stefan. The water was crystal clear and the weather was warm, it was a beautiful day. Towards evening we arrived at Ulcinj, an ethnically Albanian town on the Montenegrin side of the border with Albania. As such, it had quite a different character to the rest of Montenegro, with a beachside mosque and more of a chaotic vibe which we thought was really cool. The old town of Ulcinj was very pretty, and we had an amazing fresh seafood dinner at a restaurant on a cliff under the stars. What a night!
