We found paradise, and it’s name is Levanzo. Located a short half hour ferry ride from the north west of Sicily, Levanzo is part of the Aegadian islands, along with Favignana and Maritimo. They are small islands that could definitely be placed in Greece without anyone really noticing. Levanzo itself is tiny, with spectacular rocky beaches, the most beautiful azure water, and sandstone houses lining the port covered with beautiful flowering plants. The ports are filled with blue and white fishing boats, and it seems that nothing has really changed here for hundreds of years (except the tourism). Enough of the words, I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Definitely recommended!
