Narita is where Tokyo’s international airport is located, a smallish town about 60-90mins by train from west Tokyo. I’m not sure if many people ever actually spend time here but they should! It has a very old-world vibe, with one of the largest temple complexes in Japan, and a really nice winding street filled with elaborate food stores. It’s worthwhile checking out if you have extra time before your flight.
Which brings us to the end of our Japan trip! We are a bit behind schedule on the posts (I’m writing this from Germany) but we’ll catch up soon! Off to London now (blog-wise anyway)!
