We flew to Kauai from Maui – an extremely beautiful island that is well known for being the location of the original Jurassic Park film. Filled with towering steep cliffs and “the wettest place on earth” it’s a stunning landscape. The population of Kauai is quite small as well, so it definitely feels remote. There’s a very chill vibe on the island.
We went driving around the island and came across Waimea Canyon, the second biggest canyon on earth, where we did a bit of a hike. From close to hear, you can look out over the famous Napali Coastline which is only accessible by boat. It’s stunning. We also stopped in at the famous Hanalei Bay where Dylan bought a ukulele, and saw the nearby “Queens Baths” rock pool formations.
