Bruges is definitely from a fairy tale. 100 percent. In the northern flemish region of Belgium, the small town has a network of canals and a dutch history, as well as a reputation for being a centre of great beer. Most importantly, it’s stunningly pretty, even in winter, when we took our trip there with Ivan. We hopped on a Eurostar train from London St Pancras station and two hours and a couple of train beers later we arrived in Brussels. The next day we took a half hour train up to Bruges, and this is what we saw.
