After spending a few days in Istanbul we caught an hour long taxi for about fifty bucks to one of Istanbuls many airports, to catch a flight to Antalya, a city on the mediterranean south coast of Turkey. From here we were going to drive to a coastal town called Kaş (pronounced in English like cash), so we picked up a hire town at the airport before spending a few hours exploring the old (very old!) town and incredibly beautiful seaside whilst having lunch at a great restaurant overlooking a beach.
Antalya was great, and definitely worth a visit, but the rest of the Turkish coast is also amazing! So maybe spend a night here if you are going, but probably not much longer than that.
After lunch we got back in the car for a three-ish hour drive to Kaş through the mountainous coastline.
