Llangollen, Wales

After leaving The Cotswolds, we headed into Northern Wales for a few days, staying at an amazing little town called Llangollen which is situated on a picturesque river with the ruins of a castle perched on a mountain overlooking the town. The area is just stunningly beautiful, we loved Wales and we don’t think we stayed long enough there. In the first picture here, on the left, is an old Corn Mill with a still functioning spinning wheel. Llangollen also still has a canal system with horse drawn boats, and steam trains running through the countryside… it feels like another century here.
