After our daytrip to Bruges, we came back to Brussels already filled with heavy Belgian beers. We were hungry too. So we went straight for the best Moules Frites (Belgian Mussels) place and had Mussels in Brussels and Chez Leon. It was seriously amazing, really good food. It was kind of expensive but so worth it. Afterwards we went to the Delirium brewery bar around the corner for some more delicious beer, and then a bunch of smaller bars that we found down alleyways for even more delicious Belgian beers.
Overall, we enjoyed Brussels at night more than in the day. It’s a small city with not much going on except the Grand Place / Grote Markt with the huge gothic buildings everywhere. Still, glad we went. We had a lot of chips & mayo, that’s for sure.
