Ah Bologna. Hot, dirty, lively. A really interesting city, a very old one too. Food capital of Italy, which sure is saying something. We definitely did eat well here. Joining us here in Bologna was Tristan who would remain with us for another week or so, we were glad to have him.
Bologna is a very medieval city – complete with city walls and giant towers that the wealthy used to stay in when under siege from people like the Church. There’s a huge piazza in the centre of town, and every night in summer they host free open air movies for the population which was really nice. We caught the end of Mad Max Fury Road here.
We’re glad we went and we had fun there, but we both would probably not go back any time soon.
